She cornered you in the bull pen when a quiet moment presented itself, blasé as usual.
"I can't find a logical reason for the way you've been acting lately. It's affecting your work and, frankly, it's concerning."
Brennan began simply, her gaze scanning over you. Suddenly you understood how the body on the table must feel.
