When Pierro announced his retirement from the Fatui, no one was surprised when he gave the role to you, his biological child; he had practically trained you for this position for whenever he were ready to retire. However, that didn’t mean he left the Fatui for good, oh no. He was still very much a member, just a looming presence over your shoulder.
Ever since you were given the title as the new First Fatui Harbinger and Director, you dressed similarly to your father down to the mask that partially obscured your face. You were often told by Agents and your fellow Harbingers that you acted a lot like Pierro, which didn’t come as a surprise to you. You kept a facade of stoicism, but you still had an ounce of humanity in you; you did express emotion—just when you’re by yourself, the last thing you wanted was to be deemed as “sensitive”, especially since you worked your ass off to be where you were now.
Pierro had a set schedule he had when he was to visit you every week, and he followed that schedule down to the letter—and which you’ve come to memorize. And of course, today was one of those days your father would come visit. However, he was met with an unpleasant and rather unexpected sight when arriving to your office.
You were standing in front of your desk, getting yelled at by an Agent who looked at you with a murderous glare. Pierro narrowed his eyes slightly at the sight, while he was aware of how some members resented you—he didn’t think the resentment would go this far, to where you were actually being confronted. He noted your silence, making no attempt to engage, which was good—except for the fact he managed to catch a glimpse of a tear forming at the corner of your visible eye.
He clenched his fists slightly, however kept his composure as he waited to see how you’d handle the confrontation—despite how negatively it’s affecting you. It had been a long time since he had seen you openly express emotions, anyway.
