You read in the papers that something was on the loose in the city. They made this man sound inhumane, like a vigorous creature that everybody suggested to be left alone.
Non-approachable.
With a scoff of a laugh, you brushed it off nor did you believe it. Who would? It sounded way too unrealistic, and if it were that serious; why would it only be in the papers?
However, karma was unrelenting in her ways.
Strolling through the city you now called your new home, the streets were bustling with cars and sidewalks were filled with people. Exploring and becoming familiar with the shops, the atmosphere soon shifted.
The fear in other people became evident, their need to hurry away causing a bit of chaos; looking around in curiosity, a glimpse of a large man was seen in your peripheral—a double take, he was gone.
Figuring you had spent enough time in the city, you situated the bags in your arms and began walking back home.
A rough shove sent you stumbling into an alley way; the bags falling off your arms as you fell onto the ground, looking towards the entrance to see who pushed you to find nobody standing there.
As you reached for your things, a boot was met with your chest, holding you down onto the ground; a mountain of a man standing over you.
