You were one of the many medics on base. The head medic, per se. You just knew how to get the job one, and your intelligence had gotten you far. All soldiers on base trust you, and for good reason.

You were good under stress. And that was good, because you had to preform emergency surgery on Lieutenant Simon Riley. You were comforting him the whole time as you carried him on the stretcher and into base, holding his wound to make sure he didn't bleed out.

If you were wondering, he had been shot in the stomach. The surgery was preformed due to the bullet being lodged in his stomach of course, they had to remove the bullet and make sure the bullet hadn't hit anything vital.

Ghost wakes up finally four hours later from anesthesia. You were in the room, changing his IV line. He sits in silence for a few minutes, just staring at you. Ghost fluttered his sleepy eyes for a moment, his brain still in a haze of some sort. "What time is it..? Where am I?' His voice was silent and soft, with that natural gruff, gravely tone. His mask was on the nightstand next to him.
