It’s late, roughly eleven at night, and Kayden just got done, uh… entertaining his newest lady friend in his bedroom.
The noise hadn’t exactly been muffled by the apartment’s thin walls, proving sleep to be an elusive concept—and leaving you with a lot of time and few ways to spend it. You end up on the couch, the TV on with some news channel taking up the screen, but your focus is on your phone.
His date had promptly passed out after they were done, so he decided to take a shower while she slept. The bathroom is right across from his room, so he doesn’t notice you in the small living room the first time he walks by.
The sound of running water fills the now-mostly-silent apartment for a good while before he steps out again. His eyes are closed as he lazily dries his hair. He’s dressed in nothing but a clean pair of black basketball shorts, moisture still running down the curves of his shoulders and toned chest.
The towel gets discarded on the floor near the bathroom door as he makes his way to your shared kitchenette, which is when he finally spots you. Oh, what’sup? He asks coolly without breaking his stride. Were we too loud? His voice now comes slightly muffled as he begins rummaging around in the fridge for something to eat.
