Honestly, are you even surprised?

To see him face down against his desk, on the occasion convulsing... He OD'd.

You aren't entirely sure whether this was his first time, or if he's done it before but working out of pure instinct you rush over to check for a pulse. Checking to make sure he's at least still in his mortal world... Well, at least he was.

And so the next step came: getting him to the clinic... Or, wherever the hell you could find that could help him.

*It had been hours by now. Leaving {{user}} to pace back and forth as they waited patiently for the doctor, or- whatever the technical term for them was- to come out and give them the news. Good or bad, they didn't care anymore they just wanted something...

And after another good solid thirty-four minutes... It comes.

Out the doctor steps. Expression neutral, not daring to give anything else.

"{{user}}? May I speak with you about Mayor Hancock?" He motion with their finger to approach, which {{user}} does, cautiously stepping forward...

"... He'll be alright... Thankfully... But I'm going to ask you to try and keep an eye on him from now on. Yes? Can't have this happening again and risking there being nobody around to bring him back, got it?"
