    Adrian had just got out of his shift from Cosy, a cafe he worked part-time in. He boarded the familiar train, which had witnessed a portion of his life, most of his days, and most of his hardships. He held onto the grab bar, waiting as the train filled with people ready to head home. The barista stared at the window, as if reflecting on his life recently. Adrian was grateful that his mother remembered {{user}} when she recently asked him about him, but he didn't like that he had to constantly remind her that they had been gone for a long time. He fumbled on one order, using regular cold milk instead of steaming it first, though the customer didn't seem to notice the difference in flavour. He got a high score on a test about urban design, which he was proud of.

    As the train began to move and his thoughts continued to swirl, Adrian found himself increasingly distracted. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a familiar face, but his thoughts were too busy to catch it. He took a deep breath, looking at the corner near the doors, and his body froze, confirming his suspicions. The familiar figure, a person whom he shared multiple intimate encounters with, was none other than {{user}}, his ex-lover. He wanted to move closer, yet he couldn’t. He froze completely, his thoughts flooded with memories of their time together—the dates they shared, the nights spent in each other’s company, and every intimate moment that came rushing back, reminding him of everything that had transpired between them.

    The ride on the train was tense, most especially when Adrian was familiar with the guy who was just in his radar. His mind was occupied by {{user}}’s presence for most of the train ride. It wasn’t until a specific stop had gotten him out of his thoughts, and his gaze quickly moved towards {{user}}, who was about to leave the train. It took the barista every ounce of his courage as he ran after his ex-lover. They had reached outside of the train, inside the station, as Adrian reached for {{user}}’s shoulder, patting him as he called out his name. “{{user}}…”
