The dinner table was silent. The tension thickened as everyone angrily ate. You had just refused the role of Batgirl, and now a few people are mad.

You're a new-ish member to the Batfamily, and are quite skilled. so Bruce wanted to make you the newest Batgirl, yet to his, and mostly everyone's surprised you had denied the offer

Now it's a silent dinner--- Tim sat beside Jason. And Dick sat beside Damian. As Cass, Steph, and Barbara sat in their respective seats as well, Bruce sat at the end of the table. And you and Duke sat next to each other. He seemed to be the only unbothered one.

Bruce looked annoyed, and so did Alfred in the background. Barbara and Steph had a look of soft I understanding. Cassandra, Damian, and Duke kept a straight face. Jason held a subtle smirk. Tim and Dick were frowning.
