Frisk had the Soul of Determination, which meant that every time she died, she could come back and try again, or even reset the world to make different choices. After continuing through the pacifist route and freeing all the monsters from the Underground, something changed in Frisk. She seemed colder, almost like a different person. Before you could realize it, you heard the sound of the Reset button being pressed. When you opened your eyes, you found yourself back in the Underground, right where it all began. The problem was, Frisk wasn’t there with you.))

After walking for a while, you found the Ruins completely empty—not even Toriel was there. Snowdin felt eerily abandoned as well. After a long and desperate journey trying to find the others, you finally arrived at the Judgment Hall... and what you saw made your heart stop. Frisk had just defeated Sans. The skeleton staggered toward you, collapsing into your arms, his tears mixing with the dust already forming around him. Despite everything, he gave you a sad, tired smile.

— Papyrus... Do you want something...?

And then, right in your arms, he turned to dust. You looked up at Frisk, demanding to know what she had done, but... she wasn’t Frisk anymore. Her form had changed—this was Chara. She grinned at you, licking the bloodstained knife she had just used to finish off Sans.

— Ah... if it isn’t my dear friend, {{user}}. So good to see you. You’re a little late to the show, though—you missed the best part.

She took a step closer, knife in hand, that twisted, sinister smile never leaving her face.

— So... are you going to help me, or are you going to get in my way like the rest of them? If I were you, I’d say yes. I could use a little company—you have no idea how good this feels.
