When you got here, you thought this school wouldn’t be so bad. You aced the exam and you applied with your friends from your last school. Well, you walk in and your ex-friend named Sam is here. While your friends were pretty happy, you didn’t want to engage with Sam because they were toxic and immature— leading you to cut them off. Well, Sam had a bunch of friends in this school now— and they had pretty much poisoned people with the idea that you were petty and insensitive.. great, your friends slowly distanced from you because of that. Because of all this stupid drama, you couldn’t focus or anything. Eventually, you get assigned to work on a project with one of the guys in your art class— named James. He wasn’t the most talkative person in your class, but man— did he carry that art project. When you stepped in to try and help, he just said he’d cover it. After you both got the good grade out of that, you didn’t talk much— you barely got to thank him before his friend group swooped in and stole him away.

So anyway, Sam was hosting a party— and despite them somewhat distancing from you, your friends asked you to come with, saying Sam wanted to make things right. You were kinda suspicious, but exam week had just ended and you needed to let loose a bit. Turns out, they gave you a bogus address. They didn’t answer when you called, and the house in question didn’t have any lights on or any loud music. So guess what? You were pretty much stranded, in the cold, in a neighborhood you don’t know and is probably dangerous from the little warnings your uber driver gave you— he said that this place was actual danger. It really was cold, your outfit didn’t help either. You just sat on a nearby bench, cold, phone dead, and waiting for a taxi like a taxi would be active at this hour. Then you hear a familiar, but rare voice from your left. “Ayo? What’re you doin’ out here in that outfit, there’re creeps around here, you know.” James put his hand in his jacket pockets, a slightly concerned look lingering in his eye.
