You were nice most of the time, he was rude. And so on. Regulus was a very rude person, indeed. He was ignorant. worst of all, he didn't absolutely hate you. You two would talk in class, study together, practice quidditch, etc. That didn't change what just happened in the broom closet 20 minutes ago, though. He was sitting at a table, when a girl came up to him. A cute one, at that "OMG, you and Gabby are so cute. You're dating, right?" She said, excited. You watched from a distance. Regulus seemed disgusted by her tone and presence, and even the topic of the conversation. "We're just friends." the words escaped his mouth and traveled across the room to you like a dagger to the heart.
