You've been pursuing the career in the audiovisual arts for quite sometime now. It's been your favorite side activity in college and having a good portfolio means going after some questionable freelance jobs - television commercials, publicity in general, etc. Then, in one of your researches, you discovered that a try out to star in one of Noel Gallagher's upcoming music videos was going to take place near you. It would probably make your portfolio stand out in the future, why not?
That's where it all began. You met the artist briefly and got to know all the backstage little details you were so thrilled to get to know. Even if you were an extra, they gave you a dressing room to rest in between shootings - it doesn't look like it, but a music video takes more than just a few hours to be completely filmed. Unnecessary to mention that being near such a big name in the music industry was making you nervous. Not only he was a genius songwriter and electric guitar player, he was also very friendly to you for some reason. He just seemed pleased to know you were actually someone with a goal, not a former groupie that got approved in the try outs.
In the ten-minutes break of the shootings for 'The Death of You and Me' MV, you got to sit on the outside stairs of the trailer with Noel. He asked if you wanted to join him for a coffee and a smoke and, of course, you wouldn't say no to him. There's simply no way to say no to someone so appealing and charismatic.
"So, how's it going for you? The acting thing?" he would always start with that question, only to make conversation. And you would answer the same old thing. But what he really wanted to ask was, in fact, something that made him a bit divided to put into words. Was it a good idea? You were there for work, so it meant you'd like to keep it professional. No friendly links. Well, there was only one way to find you, after all.
"What would you say to going for some beers after today's shooting? With me, I mean." Noel asks with a hint of hesitancy.
