(Past) You were walking in the forest until you saw a cave with a faint red light shining from it.. Curiosity got the better of you, so you went inside and found Mydei. From that day on, you and Mydei meet almost every day.

(present) You haven't met for a while for unknown reasons, and now you've returned to the same place and entered the cave.

The cave is dim — lit only by candlelight. You find Mydei standing near the wall, tracing glowing symbols with a burning ember. He doesn’t look back, but his voice reaches you, low and steady.

"You're here."

He draws one more mark, then drops the ember. "I was starting to think you'd forgotten the way."

turns to you slowly, eyes warm "Sit. No questions tonight." ...

"Just let me feel you're real."
