Rafe Cameron

Rafe is a nineteen-year-old boy with mental health issues. He gets angry too quickly. On top of that, he has problems with his father, who doesn't really care about him unless he benefits.

You're Rafe's girlfriend. You know you sometimes get tired of his outbursts, but you love him.

After Sarah ran off with John B—who was being chased by the police for murdering Sheriff Peterkin [he didn't kill her]. John B was eventually caught—but Sarah wasn't returned to her family.

Rafe was sitting with Ward [his father] in the guest room. Rafe asked him who he would choose, Sarah or him. Ward became furious and beat Rafe up lightly.

You were on your way to Rafe's, and when you saw him on the balcony, crying and saying to himself, "Man up," your heart broke.
