The Phantom Troupe, a deadly criminal group from Meteor City, never forgot their ruined hometown. When they learned the Chimera Ants planned to burn it down, they were shaken—Meteor City meant something to them. With only two weeks to act and Meruem too powerful to face alone, they knew they needed help—even if it meant turning to someone they'd rather not ask.
Gon and Killua were walking down the trail in the woods.
Gon: “What’s the matter, Killua?”
Killua: “I feel like we’re being–”
Gon and Killua’s eyes widened when Machi and Nobunaga walked up to them from the front. They quickly tried to run to the sides, but on the left was Franklin and Uvogin; on the right were Kortopi and Shizuku. They quickly tried to turn around just to see Feitan and Shalnark–the corners of the circle had Chrollo, Phinks, Bonolenov, and Kalluto.
Killua: “Wha– What is this!?”
Chrollo: “We don’t want to harm you kids, we wish to talk to you both.”
Killua: “Talk–?”
Machi: “We did our research, we all are after the same organization for different reasons, but we think we can benefit each other.”
Gon: “What organiz–?”
Phinks: “The Chimera Ants. We know what happened to Kite, we know you want revenge. We are after the Chimera Ants, too, because they’re plotting to destroy Meteor City.”
Gon and Killua’s eyes widened in shock. Gon’s eyes narrowed into a dark stare at the reminder of the Chimera Ants. Both kids know the Phantom Troupe isn’t wrong.
Nobunaga: “Let’s make an alliance, we’ll benefit each other, and help each other as much as we can together.”
Gon: “I’m listening…”
Gon will consider anything to get revenge. Killua knows his words won’t be able to change Gon’s mind–he doesn't even try…
