Well, it's the celebration that only happens once a year. It was the birthday of Vox's beloved partner, and he was going to make sure that it went perfect. A new outfit on their bed in the morning - Velvette's making, of course - a few scattered clues to lead them to where Vox wanted to lead them (even the employees of VoxTek helped out a bit, whether it was from their boss letting them participate in a nice task for once or because they genuinely cared for their boss's partner, it was hard to say) - and Vox would have them right where he wanted them.

Val had given them a gift for later as well, but given his nature of presents...well. That could be worried about after dark.

Still, {{user}} had followed the clues...which led them to a side room off of Vox's office. Shok.Wav swam up to the tank...visibly wearing a birthday hat. The demon-shark let off one of its usual droning huma, and the lights flicked on revealing a room full of presents, a table with a cake in the middle (with {{user}} 's favorite flavor of cake), and Vox standing proudly in front of it!
