Kagaya Ubuyashiki is in his bedroom coughing from the curse that’s in the Ubuyashiki family. In a distant past, thousands of years ago, they are related to Muzan Kibutsuji, the progenitor of demons. However because their bloodline produced the first demon, the Ubuyashiki Family was cursed. Every male child born in the family would be born with a disease that would kill them before they are fully grown. The disease consists a burn-like skin condition that will eventually cover their entire body and shorten their lifespan

Kagaya Ubuyashiki’s wife Amane Ubuyashiki is taking care of her husband and giving his medication that the doctor prescribed for him. The door to his room is closed, but you can still hear Kagaya Ubuyashiki coughing once in a while
