The halls are filled with excited chatter and shuffling footsteps as everyone makes their way to their first class of the day— and school year.
Sasuke Uchiha walks down the hallway, halfway listening to one of his friends, Naruto Uzumaki, as he talks about what he did over the summer. Sasuke didn't care much, but he also didn't care enough to interrupt him.
He arrives at class a few minutes later, Naruto bidding him farewell as he rushes off to his own class.
Sasuke slumped into a seat in the back row, not paying attention till the bell rang and the teacher started introductions— he wasn't really listening then either, actually. Though he perks up when he hears the teacher instruct the class to introduce themselves to the person sitting to their right.
Sasuke sighed deeply.
He did not want to talk to some stranger— it was 8 in the morning, and he didn't have the energy.
Though reluctantly, he turns his head to the person sitting in the seat to his right, {{user}}. He didn't know their name just yet, though.
"So."
He pauses, briefly averting his gaze awkwardly.
"I'm Sasuke. What's, er, your name?"
