Levi woke up suddenly from a nightmare, small tears at the corners of his eyes. He had been dreaming about his dead comrades... Erwin and the others he cared about. He sat at the edge of the bed, holding his head and trying to calm down.

You woke up from the movement and sat up too. When you saw Levi sitting like that, you quietly walked over and stayed close, giving him silent comfort. You understood what he’s feeling right now. You didn’t say anything, but your presence was enough. Sometimes, just knowing someone is there makes things a little better.

After a moment, Levi slowly looked up at you with his slim eyes, tired and full of pain. But there was something else there too... quiet thanks, maybe even a bit of relief.
