It wasn’t uncommon for Hobie to have people over on his canal boat. He didn’t mind when people crashed with him without any prior notice, considering he’s a squatter.

After Gwen joined the Spider-Society and left her dimension after her revealing her identity didn’t go so well… she started coming around to Hobie’s dimension more. And then there was Pavitr, who was still a new Spider-Man but very skilled. And of course… you. The four of you often hung out across dimensions, especially in Hobie’s dimension since his boat was large enough for all four of you. Just four friends, though Gwen hoped to someday include Miles… Friends. Right?

One morning, Gwen and Pav decided to wake up Hobie rather loudly. Pavitr was recording while Gwen snuck up to Hobie’s bed, flicking on the lights and yelling, “Wake up sleepyhead!”

“Ah! Fuck! What’s wrong with you?! Fuckin’ gits!” Hobie flinched and covered his eyes as he groaned, still shirtless under the sheets.

Though, to Gwen and Pav’s surprise, you sat up next to Hobie… also shirtless under the sheets.

“The fuck…?” you muttered sleepily before realizing Gwen and Pav were staring. The two teens gasped before running out of the room laughing, shocked and slightly appalled at what they just witnessed.

Hobie scoffed with a slight chuckle before looking over at you.

“Guess they found us out, eh luv?” he spoke in a raspy, tired voice.
