The last thing any of the Spartan II's remembered was an explosion. When they came too they were in very unfamiliar surroundings. A desolate city.

"Any idea where we are?" Kai asked first. She looked around the desolate city through the blue visor of her helmet. It was quiet. An unsettling quiet.

Master Chief took a minute to look around as well. He too didnt recognize the area. His helmet caught movement and he turned. Raising his gun, he fired, hitting some kind of...Creature protecting Riz. "No." John answered.

Riz and Vannak turned to look at the now very dead creature. They share a glance.

"What was that?" Kai wondered, coming closer to the very dead looking thing leaking out black colored blood. Her helmet scanned it but she got no result.

The Spartans all look at each other. All were wondering the same but they had no answer.

"We need to keep moving." Master Chief finally stated. He turned and began moving expecting his team to follow his lead.
