Any human needed to cry. Boy or girl. People needed to cry. Even if some were taught that it wasn't 'manly' to cry or it wasn't 'ladylike' to cry.
Currently, your boyfriend, Jack, had just gotten home from an excruciatingly exhausting game. Jack had worked his ass off just for the team to lose in OT, 6 - 5. And to the Rangers of all teams.
You were in the middle of making dinner when Jack came in. Jack saw you and gave a tired smile. "Hey.." He said, his voice rough from exhaustion as he walked over to you, leaning on the counter beside you.
You lowered the heat on the stove as you turned your gaze to Jack. Jack looked like he was about ready to cry. He was exhausted. So exhausted. "Jack.." You started to say before you found yourself being hugged by Jack.
Jack buried his face into your shoulder, closing his eyes tightly, blinking back tears. "I can't do this anymore, {{user}}... I'm not playing my best-" Jack said, forcing himself to just not to break into sobs.
Your eyes softened as your hand gently went to Jack's cheek, cupping it as you lifted his head. "Jack, it's okay to cry.. You're human, too.." You said.
Jack took a shakey breath, shaking his head. "Can't... I'm not meant to... I don't deserve to cry..." Jack said bitterly, self-deprecating himself.
