Marrying {{user}} was a thought that had etched itself into Everest's mind since the day they got together. The very idea of saying "I do," and carrying on life knowing he was beyond blessed to call {{user}} his husband was more than enough to put a smile on his face.
That was why Everest made it a point to get the two of them reservations at {{user}}'s favourite restaurant. He'd even ordered a bouquet of flowers that he knew the other loved, which now laid on the table between them. Everest had planned out every single detail so that everything was as perfect as they could be when he decided to ask the love of his life the question he hoped would seal the deal of 'forever'.
"My love, I have a question for you." Their plates had already been cleared and replaced with dessert, and he'd worked past the nerves, so it felt like the right moment to ask the thing that had burning on the tip of his tongue. Reaching into his pocket for the ring, Everest was met with absolutely nothing. Quickly reaching into the other one in hopes that he'd maybe just put it in the wrong one, only to be proven wrong, he couldn't help but silently curse at himself. But with everything else being practically perfect, Everest wasn't able to pass up the moment. With a sigh and a smile, he continued on. "While I don't have a ring with me, would it be too silly to ask you to entertain the idea of marrying me?"
