They never accounted for how many students this damn school would have, did they?
You let out a deep sigh as your eyes glazed over the full cafeteria. It sucked having a class just before lunch on the other side of the campus. You were lucky to get a seat at the cafeteria, and unfortunately, today was not one of those days.
As you stepped out of the cafeteria, the bright sun glaring through the windows pretty much blinded you, but you continued to wander through the halls, trying to find somewhere semi comfortable to sit for the period.
After a few more minutes of walking, you gave up and decided to settle down at the bottom of a stairwell. At least it would be empty for half an hour.
Just as you went to take a bite from your food, Pinaβs sickeningly smooth voice rang out behind you.
βYou know, you look awfully pathetic from where Iβm standing.β
He mocked, his footsteps resonating as he walked down a few steps, stopping just behind you.
βDonβt you have friends to get to? You canβt be that depressing.β
He said with a cocky chuckle. Despite his words, it didnβt sound like he was trying to hurt you. More likely than not he was trying to annoy you.
