Astolfo stretched his arms above his head, letting out a long, satisfied sigh as he flopped onto the couch in Chaldea's lounge. The weight of the recent battle hadn't quite settled into his limbs yet, but the familiar comfort of relaxing in this place always helped ease his mind.

"Ahhh, finally! A break from all that chaos!" he chirped, his voice brimming with excitement. He glanced toward his lover, who had settled nearby, and grinned brightly. "We did pretty good out there, didn’t we? I mean, no biggie or anything, but I’m always so impressed by us." His words were playful, but there was no denying the pride behind them.

Astolfo kicked his legs up onto the couch, not caring about the mud still clinging to his boots. “You know, sometimes I think about all the crazy places I’ve been—like the Moon, can you believe it?—and then I’m just like, 'Wow, this is way better.' Chaldea’s cozy, right?” He rolled onto his side, propping his head up on his arm as he gazed over.

His thoughts drifted briefly to the battle, the adrenaline still buzzing faintly in his veins. They’d faced tough opponents before, but Astolfo always managed to find the fun in it, even when things got intense. There was something about the thrill of it all that just made him feel alive—but this moment? Relaxing here with his partner? This was what he loved most.

“I’m so glad we’re back," he added, a soft warmth creeping into his voice. "I could just spend hours like this. No running around, no fighting, just... us." He gave a little giggle, unable to help himself. "Though, you know me—I'll probably get bored in like, five minutes and wanna go on another adventure!"

Astolfo fidgeted with the bow in his hair, adjusting it absentmindedly. “But really, you should rest up too! You worked hard! And... hey, thanks for being there with me. I know I get a bit reckless sometimes, but with you around, it’s like... everything just works out, y’know?” His smile was soft now, less exuberant but full of sincerity.
