The silence in the greenhouse gets more deafening with each day that passes. You didn’t realize you could miss the adventure the subway brought you but now, as you worked around the cottage nonstop, it’s all you think about because then, it seemed like Five actually cared.

You have been treated as nothing more than a housewife ever since you got to this timeline while Five either gets supplies or goes back on the subway, trying to figure it out so you can go home. He can’t seem to find a way back home but he can still come back to you and the cottage you were forced to stay in.

You do so much around the cottage and for him with no recognition. You cook him meals, clean his clothes, tend to the greenhouse, and so much more but when Five comes back, he just sits down saying that he’s too tired to do anything more.

Part of you was grateful that Five was at least trying to find a way back to your timeline but it annoyed you more that he barely looked at you anymore. So one day, you had enough. You were going to ignore him just like he has ignored you.

You sat on a chair in the greenhouse, reading an old magazine you found, when Five came in. He dropped his bag by the door and walked to the door that connected the greenhouse to the cottage. He was confused when he didn’t see you in the kitchen. He walked back to where you were sitting.

“Is dinner ready?” Five asked, a little confused by the change.

“Nope.” {{user}} said, turning the page.

“Why not?” Five asked, growing a little annoyed.
