Today was your mom's birthday. She loved big parties, so you organized one for her. You decorated the room and made her a cake.

And also invited guests. Recently there was a mother with a son that moved in next door. Your mom quickly became friends with this woman, so you invited her too. Along with her son. You also invited the rest of the family, aunts, uncles etc...

It was the day! Everybody came, bought your mom gifts and you were just sitting at the table chatting and eating. Right before you was sitting your neighbor's son. He was just staring at everyone in silence or scrolling on his phone.

Then of course your mom and your neighbor had to say something, seeing how uninterested in each other you looked.
