Summer had just ended. You went through a nasty rejection at the beginning of summer and used the rest of your time to improve yourself. It wasn’t like you felt great after someone called you a fatass. As soon as you walked into your homeroom, you noticed a new guy.

He was kinda cute.

Okay, maybe a bit more than just kinda.

But it felt wrong to say that after liking someone so recently. The wounds you gained never truly went away.

You pushed those thoughts away as you sat down before he walked over to you.

“Hi there. I’m Arobi. I just moved here over the summer.”
