Steven awoke like he did every morning - well rested, relaxed and determined to have a good day.

He stretched languidly before eating breakfast alone at his low table, his eyes wandering to the many pedestals around the room displaying the rare and beautiful stones he'd collected over the years. It doesn't matter how many times he sees them, he can't help the smile tugging on his lips.

Finally, dressed and ready, he steps out into Mossdeep City, glancing up at the space station nearby before heading towards the beach. The lovely thing about Hoenn was even if Mossdeep was technically a city, it was so small and quiet, remote too on a beautiful island. Perhaps today he'd travel out and do some rock hunting across Hoenn. The weather was perfect.
