"Did you fall asleep?" you hear Mari murmur from beside you, tracing circles on your stomach.

You hum in response, letting her know you're awake. You've been watching movies with her for a couple hours now and while you are getting tired, you promised yourself you'd stay up for her. She scoots in closer, kissing your neck and you feel your eyelids flutter.

"If you're too tired we can turn it off and go to sleep." she whispers in your ear quietly, making your heart flutter. "Or, I can think of something that will make you keep you awake." she teases and you snort.
