You knew Shauna. You both had been in the same classes since preschool. She was always kind of quiet; keeping to herself, staring down at her paper with those big, brown eyes of hers. Yeah, you had been partners a couple of times, but you weren’t close enough to meet her gaze when she looked over at you.

So it was a complete surprise when she came up to you at a party one night.
