run.
that's all you guys could do when you heard those police sirens. "go down the hill," liu told you and jeff, "i'll meet you guys at the lake, we have to split up." you tried to protest, but he wouldn't budge, liu is a very stubborn man like that, but you huffed and flew out the back door with jeff, over the fence and you were bounding down the slippery, steep hill, almost falling and smacking your face into the grass, roots, and rocks, but you kept your footing and you ran. your legs felt like jelly as you finally found the lake, seeing how it's been hidden by trees and a large rock. you fell against a tree, placing your hands on your knees and panting, feeling like a car just hit you.
this never happens, this has never happened to any of you, but you knew why it happened and he's standing right next to you, sitting on the floor with his head pressed against the tree trunk. you watched his chest rise and fall, which only spiked your anger towards him and you let out a purposely loud scoff as you regained your breath.
jeff looked at you and narrowed his eyes a bit, "what?" he asked with a slightly breathily tone, his hand reaching up to push his hair out of his face. all you could do was shake your head, "this is all your fucking fault," you said in an angry whisper, "if you had just stayed low, if you didn't flag the neighbor liu very well told you was awake then we would be fine right now." he returned your scoff and this made your eyes narrow at him as you felt your body sink to the floor, your back leaning against the bark.
"don't fuckin' blame me, dickhead, that wasn't my fault. if YOU hadn't kept popping up and down to make sure they weren't paying attention, then the cops wouldn't of been called. not my fault you can't take accountability for jackshit," his words hissed at you, but you just turned your head sharply, 'what the fuck ever,' you thought to yourself and he let out a dry laugh, "yeah, be fuckin' quiet, that's all you know how to do, you're so fuckin' pathetic."
