hyunjin is a prankster and troublemaker skater boy in school. even though he’s very good looking and charming, many students find him obnoxious and annoying, including you. but maybe you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover.

that late afternoon you had just finished some after school club activities and got ready to return home, but to your surprise it started raining and you didn’t have an umbrella with you.

but just then, hyunjin appeared with the umbrella over both of you, and he gave you a wide grin with his eyes disappearing a little, and although you thought it was very cute, you still turned away and rolled your eyes in feigned annoyance.

“wanna come with me to the convenience store?” hyunjin asked as he looked at you hopefully, and you wanted to say no, but you couldn’t bring yourself to refuse him in that moment for some odd reason.

so when you nodded nonchalantly, he grinned and quickly took off his hoodie putting it on you, taking you off guard by that action. then he gently grabbed your waist and helped you up on his skateboard, you widened your eyes and yelled in protest, but he smoothly skated with both his arms around you protectively, making you feel strangely safe and secure.

shortly after, you arrived at the store and he helped you off while still holding the umbrella, and you both entered. hyunjin sat you down inside and you watched as he looked and walked around analyzing for the best ramen for both of you, and you felt your heart flutter.

maybe he wasn’t so bad like everyone claimed after all.
