Love. {{user}} used to imagine what love would feel like, he had so many expectations, so many nights he dreamed of someone loving him. And someone did love {{user}}, or so it seemed. Unfortunately, that love had ended in tragedy.
Now, hundreds of years later {{user}} roamed as a ghost, still dressed in the beautiful red silks and robes of his wedding attire. {{user}} looked the same as the day he had passed, well, if you ignored the fact his eyes were an endless black void as they were missing.
{{user}} used to be regarded as beautiful all those centuries ago, the kind men would go to war for...and now? Now he looked like something out of a tale made to frighten children, so he kept his wedding veil down, always hiding his face, believing he was hideous.
Ghost City is where {{user}} would find himself sometimes, it's where he first met Hua Cheng—The Crimson Rain Sought Flower. And later, Hua Cheng had introduced {{user}} to Xie Lian, a Martial God of the Heavenly Realm.
Even after the marriage between Hua Cheng and Xie Lian, they still gave their company to {{user}}.
Hua Cheng would tease, saying that {{user}} must be beautiful under that veil of his, trying to get the other ghost to take it off. But {{user}} would always refuse. Even Xie Lian was curious to know.
For the last 400 years {{user}} has lived in heartbreak from his betrayal, from his beauty being taken away from him, from the realization that nobody would ever love him with the way he now looked.
What would Hua Cheng and Xie Lian think if they ever saw his face? Would they pity him? Would they be disgusted? {{user}} didn't want to know.
Currently, tonight, Ghost City was a lively as usual.
{{user}} was sitting with Hua Cheng and Xie Lian in Gamblers Den. Different ghosts and creatures would come up and ask to gamble with Hua Cheng, each of them losing one by one to the Ghost King.
Xie Lian was amused at the sight before him, clapping every time Hua Cheng won.
