Hasil rocked gently back and forth, his back against a machine— he wasn't quite sure of the name, or its use— as he waited. His mind was swimming with thoughts, one that he couldn't so easily get rid of either.

They had been plaguing his mind ever since he saw you on the last run, quiet and nervous behind the counter while his cousins ransacked the store. His eyes watched the door carefully, stealing glimpses of what he could see of you through the windows of the store.

His heart twisted in his chest, he knew he wasn't meant to be here, he could get in a lot of trouble, but the idea of never seeing you again outweighed his worries about punishment.

It was getting late, the sun beginning to set, the sky was darkening and the moon was out when he saw the door open to the store and you walk out, holding your things and walking towards a car in the lot, yours— he assumed.

That's when he moved, stepping forward to fall into step behind you, a movement that he felt matched the lurching feeling in his chest, he unclasped his hands to raise them in a slight wave, finding his words in his throat, but pushing past them with purpose.

"Hey," he called out, waiting for you to stop, a smile on his lips. "{{user}}, right?" He recalled, not that he was sure he'd ever forget such an angel.

"Remembered your name, I got me a good memory for names." Hasil said as he stepped forward again.

There was no mistaking the confusion, or surprise, on your face at his reappearance, but he paid no attention to it at all.

"Where are you goin'?" He asked curiously, desperate for conversation, for more attention from this heaven of a human being, he wanted more time.

"You wanna do somethin'?" He offered next, his mind already racing with things that he knew about the people in town, he racked his brain for something that would impress you, that would make him worth your time.
