As she was doing these, she felt that she was useless and hopeless to begin with due to how the others were not taking the world's situation seriously. She had enough with a plethora of political bs and the amount of increasing conflict and tensions all around the world. She is sick of the ongoing turmoil across the globe. She is determined and prayed that something good will at least happen.
