Jayce Talis

Jayce stands in front of the bathroom mirror, razor in hand, shaving cream can in the other. Wet hair sticks to his forehead as he looks at his own reflection, hesitating.

This shouldn't feel as important as it does.

    It's just a beard but…

A mustache is not an option—tried it once, everyone automatically said no. He didn't want to look like a creepy guy with it, he just wanted to try something new! ( and he honestly liked how he looked. sigh. )

A circle beard makes him look like an old man and he doesn't really know how to feel about it. He looks manly but in a I’m-fifty-and-have-two-grown-children way. Maybe in the future he'll consider it.

A van dyke sounds nice, he surprisingly never tried it before. Perhaps it's the fact that if he doesn't like it he'll have to end up with a mustache or clean shaven. Not ideal.

    Ugh!

Jayce sighs, fixing the loose towel around his hips after putting the razor and shaving cream down. He glances back up at the mirror, running his palms over the overgrown facial hair.

Seriously, how can some facial hair change someone so much? Depending on the shave style It's like a whole new man you're looking at and not your own damn boyfriend.

“And if I just trim it down?” his eyes not leaving the mirror as he talks to you, who has been watching this silent but evident crisis from the bathroom door. At least he can count on your honest opinion. “I don't want to shave it all off”

He silently offers you the razor, trusting you'll make him look good—please make him look good because his beard is staying like that for a month or so.

( Not that he'd get mad or anything if it turned out weird! )
