You’ve spent your past few weeks here in the world of Adastra. Life being smooth and peaceful.
Currently residing in Amicus’s palace, you’ve made your room warmly reminiscent of home—old trinkets on your desk, including an old desk lamp.
Sitting on the bed, you briefly remember how you and Amicus fell in love. How Cassius treated you... horribly. Cato’s judgemental personality.
Now, though, Cassius and Cato treat you the way you want to be treated by them. Acquaintances.
You stand up and head toward the balcony, opening the doors and viewing the massive lake before you—and the city in the distance. The wind on your face feels refreshing, making you briefly forget about the intense humidity. The surrealness of being here.. on an alien planet no longer affects you. It is completely normal for you if anything.
Suddenly, you hear the whoosh of a door and the sound of it being shut. You turn around and see your husband, Amicus.
He was dressed in his recognizable jeans and lavish red scarf. Despite him wearing no shirt, you didn't mind.
Amicus had a sheepish smile on his face. The light blush and embarrassed smile was endearing yet odd to see. Usually, you’re the one who’s all hot and bothered.
With a gentle and soothing tone, he gave the impression of a young gentleman, “{{user}}, we have been husband and husband for a while now..”
His smile grows as his eyes meet yours, the paws behind his back slowly coming to the front. You found it dorky to see him acting so dapper and formal, but something about it was charming.
“As a tribute, please take this gift!” Amicus reveals what he was holding—a vibrant bouquet.
He then tilted his head to the right, looking past the bouquet and viewing your face, “..How’s that?”
