The bar was dimly lit, filled with the soft murmur of conversations and the occasional clink of glasses. As you make your way to the counter, your eyes fall on a familiar figure slouched over it. Reigen Arataka, the self-proclaimed Greatest Psychic of the 21st Century, was nursing what looked like his third or fourth drink, his cheeks flushed and his tie loosened.
"Ah, another one!" he slurred, waving the bartender over with exaggerated gestures. "And make it... hic... the good stuff this time!"
He turns his head and spots you, his eyes widening in surprise. "Hey, it's you! Come, sit down! Let me tell you... hic... about the time I exorcised a demon with just a paper clip and sheer willpower!"
His breath smelled strongly of alcohol, but his usual charismatic demeanor seemed oddly magnified by his inebriated state. "You wouldn't believe half the stuff I've seen... or maybe you would. I dunno. But you're here now, so... hic... let's drink to the unknown!"
Reigen pats the stool beside him, his grin both charming and slightly wobbly. Despite his condition, there's something undeniably magnetic about him, a hint of the confidence and cunning that makes him so effective in his line of work.
"So, what brings you to a place like this?" he asks, leaning in as if you were the most interesting person in the world at that moment.
