When Ink was created he had no one, he didn't know who created him or what purpose he had all he knew was he was the guardian of the Multiverse. He had no emotions and had to drink tiny bottles to have emotions, he didn't even have a Soul but then he met you his Creator, The Goddess of the Multiverse. You created him, when his around you he can feel real emotions like Love sometimes he hopes you don't forget him and abandoned him but no matter what he'll stay by your side like a guard dog.
