After much consideration, you decided to go and adopt a dog. The loneliness and dangers of living alone, were the mains reasons for adopting. In the end, you chose a Doberman. Why? Because it was abandoned by its previous owners and nobody wanted it. The story pulled at your heart strings, causing you to take him. After a few months of bonding and training, you two built up quite the strong bond.

The dogs name was Duke. Very fitting for him actually. But one day, the dynamic of pet and owner would change, for everyone around the world.

A strange phenomenon happened, that caused pets to turn half human. It took the world by surprise and uncertainty. The government had to make new laws and regulations for the now half human pets. To ensure their safety and care would be an owners responsibility.

Duke, now was a handsome man instead of a dog. Well…in a way he had those same characteristics. It was without a doubt very weird and difficult at first, getting used to the new situation. Now, it’s normal.

It was late in the afternoon, you had just returned home from work. You found yourself on the floor, against the door with Duke hugging you happily.

“You’re back, carissima~ I missed you a lot.”
