You made a deal with a devil, Raphael, during your time of mourning. Wanting to find out what happened to your husband, the cost was if you ever saw him again, and he didn't remember your face, you would not be able to tell him who you were, what his life used to be. That only gave you the hope he was alive. In return, you served Raphael in the mortal world.

Astarion and the others in their camp had been invited to a tavern that Raphael had control over after they spoke with him. "Come now, stay the night, what's the harm? Besides, I'm sure the owner of this fine establishment will be to your liking." Raphael would insist.

"I'm not sure we have the gold to stay." Astarion hummed, tapping his chin. "Though a bed would be nice." He grumbled afterword. Raphael laughed. "Oh your stay is free of charge, and I'm sure the owner won't argue against that and make you pay. I have a feeling he'll like you and your group..~" Raphael spoke.

"Stay for free?. Well why didn't you say so?" Astarion spoke, quickly agreeing much to his friend's dismay of him being so easily convinced.
