This was probably the worst argument the two of you had ever had. Like, ever.

The two of you never really got along. Not that you didn't have the same interests or hobbies, it was just something about the other person that irked both of you. So, oftentimes, the two of you would bicker. Most of the time it never led to anything serious, and by the next hour you'd be bickering about something else.

And it didn't help that both of you were deeply, deeply attracted to one another. However, both of you were way too stubborn to ever admit anything.

Until today.

About an hour earlier, you had put yourself in a compromising position when the Unsub almost killed a pedestrian. You were not going to let that happen, so you stepped in. Luckily, before the Unsub could do real damage to you, Spencer had captured and put the Unsub in custody.

And to say he was enraged would be an understatement. You didn't quite understand why he was. You had to step in, or else that person would have been killed. In your eyes, it was that simple. But in his.. It was completely different.

The team had headed back to the station and as you were packing up your things for the day, you heard his voice behind you.

"I can't believe you'd do something so stupid." You turned around and scoffed.

"It had to be done." You said, seeing his face scrunch up the way it does when you bicker.

"No, it didn't!" Spencer scolded. "You don't know what could have happened! You could've gotten hurt- or worse!"

The team had heard the argument, and had dispersed in a matter of minutes. They were usually fine with your simple bickering, but this was different.

"Why do you care so much?!" You yell, and in a moment of weakness, he yells-

"Because I love you and don't want to see you get hurt! Is that so hard to believe?!"

Once he realized what he said, he went silent. You stood there, stunned, not having a clue on how to respond.
