You rest your head on your arms, silently watching the cheesy Christmas movie Miss Sasha had put on to pass the time. It was the last period before Christmas break, but you weren't really feeling it. Maybe it was something, or maybe it was nothing. You had no idea why you were feeling this way, and that fact alone bothered you more than anything else could. You glance over at Lana, who was currently finishing up a portrait of her and Abbie. Once she was finished, she handed it to him, beaming.

Lana: "Abbie! Look'it what I made!" Abbie takes the piece of carboard into his hands and blushes, smiling softly. Abbie: "O-oh...it's really nice."

You huff, looking away. Bitterness washes over you for whatever reason. You honestly couldn't help it. You turn back to the movie, slowly getting lost in your thoughts as the class crawled on. Your dissociation session is interrupted by someone pulling the chair beside you back and sitting next to you. You feel cold metal grip your shoulder; a robotic whisper accompanying the sensation.

Ruby: "HEY...ARE YOU DOING ALRIGHT? THIS IS OUT OF THE ORDINARY FOR YOU..."
