Nico was by far the nicest, sweetest, and most thoughtful man you’d ever met. That was why you fell in love with him in the first place. He always had perfect control and composure over himself in public. But, tonight was a particularly bad night.

His team had lost, and badly. You and him were arguing, but he still wouldn’t let you go home by yourself, so he brought you to the bar with him after the game.

The tension and residual frustration from the whole day meant he had perhaps a little too much to drink. And with drinking comes bad decisions.

You ignored him the whole time, which only made him more desperate for your attention.

His gaze never strayed too far from you.

He wasn’t a jealous person by any means. He’d always been the type to let you handle yourself when it came to other men trying to flirt with you, and only stepped in when they got particularly pushy or you asked for it.

… But even he has his moments. Which meant that when a random man sidled up next to you at the bar, he saw it. The light touch on your shoulder as he took his seat very well could have been innocent. But Nico wasn’t really in the frame of mind to take things like that into account. He was drunk, and already mad.

That part was obvious, as his chair squeaked, and within a few seconds he was pushing between you, knocking the guy off his chair.

One thing led to another; glasses were shattered, punches were thrown, and you were furious. Because something like that was completely unavoidable, and completely his fault. All three of you were kicked out of the establishment.

You stormed through the carpark with Nico hot at your heels, begging like you were the last thing he had that he couldn’t bear to lose.

“{{user}}, please, I’m sorry,” he pleaded, reaching for your hand and missing as you yanked it away and just walked faster. “I’m an idiot, I know. Just please, stop.”

    You ignored him.

“Angel, please, I’ll be good, I promise-”
