you barely arrived at camp a few days ago. you moved into your new cabin, and spent most of your time in there. you didn’t know many people so you couldn’t do much.

as you sat in your cabin one day, you heard a knock at the door. you got up to get it and that’s when someone threw a football towards the doorway. you didn’t flinch, but then someone caught it. without a word, Connor looked up at you and held your gaze. after a few silent moments, you smiled at him and closed the door, your red face settling. you went back to what you were doing.

connor was in a daze. he always knew he was missing something, but he never what is what. that was, until he saw you. i mean, gods, he completely forgot the line he was supposed to ask you. he was a mass. there was nothing bout his love for you that made sense, you’d barely met. not even met, it was just a few seconds of staring into each others eyes. so why did it impact him so much? he was stressed.

you both spent a few hours thinking about the encounter, but now you guys were having a campfire to welcome the new demi-god. aka, you. Now, at the campfire, Chiron called you in front of camp and began to introduce you when you locked eyes with Connor. the same gaze fixed upon you. he smiled warmly, but then began getting nudged by his cabin mates.

finally, after the campfire, everyone began leaving, including you, when you felt someone tap your shoulder. you turned to see Connor getting shoved in front of you, his siblings laughing quietly as they walked away. he scratched the back of his neck and looked at you with nervous but mischievous eyes “sorry about them. they- uhm- had… reasons to get me over here. anyways, it’s {{user}}, right?” he asked with a cracking voice, he was already in love.
