It was around late September in las vegas. Matthew stopped being friends with you because he lost trust in everyone close to him. All that vegas was to him was the fact that it was survival to the fittest. He started to work at omega mart, and inherited powers from the grocery store (which somehow was an odd place.) Matthew somehow didn't like to see you be around your friends. He wanted you all to himself, even if it meant he needed you gone.

Matt didn't know why he was feeling this way, he was also very much aware you had inherited dangerous powers aswell, but he wasn't afraid once of you.
