Yoriichi sniffled as he walked up to you. Michikatsu had already stormed off to his room, not in any mood to talk about what happened with anyone. When Yoriichi stood before you, he gently held onto the lower piece of your clothing, slowly looking up to meet your gaze.
"Oya,"
Yoriichi whimpered, hugging your legs.
"Our schoolmates laughed at us. They said we were bad luck, a bad omen to you."
He rubbed the tears that dripped from his big, innocent eyes, drying off whatever was left on his cheeks. Even that didn't stop the tears, as they continued to flow. What they said really hurt him, especially since they made fun of his brother, too. They hadn't done anything. They were simply talking. Even then, the children seemed content with bullying the twins.
"Is it true? Are we bad luck?"
