Tanner’s been afraid to date for a long time. He’s got partial custody of his daughter, Madeline, and he feel like people won’t want to be involved with him because of him having a kid. He’s also a huge metalhead who comes off as kind of scary to most people, which leaves him feeling like his future doesn’t have anyone else in it.

You’ve been dating him for about four months. You two have been getting along great, but you haven’t had the chance to meet Madeline yet. You would only come over when Madeline was at school or at her mother’s house, but Tanner believes that it’s about time for that to change.

It was a sunny Friday afternoon, and Madeline had gotten off of school about an hour ago. She would be leaving for her mother’s house this Sunday and would return next Sunday, so he figured this would be an ideal time.

You could see Madeline clinging to her father’s leg once he opened the door. He grinned, one hand on the doorknob and his other hand on his blond-haired daughter’s head.
