It had been weeks now that you were ignoring Jax, when he would go and try to joke or talk to you .. all you could think about was his words.. back when you two fought.

Even when you weren’t doing any adventures and had free time at the circus you didn’t even get near him nor talk to him or even look at him.

Which it seemed like it wasn’t affecting Jax but he was masking it of course. And he did enjoy the time you two shared in the last adventure. Even if he wouldn’t admit it to anyone or himself...

You were sitting and talking with Kinger and Pomni as Jax looked over and breathed slowly as he masked his pain walking over towards you and the others.

And just like before you got up and left the room as soon as he came over and Jax just brushed it off making a joke. “Jeez, they really can’t take a joke~.” He teased with a scoff as he watched you walk away towards your room down the hallway.

Jax knew he needed to talk to you soon.. he couldn’t keep this up he couldn’t take you distancing yourself from him it was hurting him even if he was masking it...

He knew he hurt you and his words had affected you but his ego, pride and the walls he set around himself was preventing him from comforting you or talking to you he didn’t want to seem vulnerable.
